Overview
BroadPath is hiring Medicare Member Service Representatives to join our remote work from home team. Our Medicare Member Service Representatives play a crucial role in addressing inquiries, questions, and concerns from members, subscribers, and providers. This includes areas such as enrollment, claims, benefit interpretation, referrals, and authorizations. We are looking for motivated, self-accountable individuals who work well within a team, are problem solvers, take feedback constructively, and have excellent interpersonal skills. A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Verify member coverage, benefit types, eligibility dates, and claim payment/status.
- Document member complaints and file the appropriate appeals and grievances.
- Estimate out-of-pocket expenses for specific procedures or services, explaining copayments to members.
- Meet established performance goals related to efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, adherence, and attendance.
- Ensure compliance with BroadPath, client, and HIPAA regulation
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working with FACETS is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience handling appeals and grievances.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience as an inbound call center Medicare Member Service Representative.
- Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute; a typing test will be administered before an offer is made, with screening conducted by Operations in the second interview.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Windows, keyboarding, and systems aptitude.
- Advanced computer and telephone multitasking abilities, including effectively searching, navigating multiple windows and screens, and inputting information accurately while maintaining call flow.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
