Texas Family Initiative is looking for a dedicated Permanency Case Manager to join our team and help build safer, stronger families.

What You'll Do:
As a Permanency Case Manager, you'll work hands-on with families in the foster care system, helping them navigate a critical time in their lives. Your goal is to promote permanency—ensuring children in the Managing Conservatorship of DFPS achieve a stable, safe, and loving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support biological parents in identifying services to help them succeed.
- Conduct monthly home visits and attend court hearings.
- Collaborate with family members, community resources, CASA, and more to build lasting partnerships.
- Advocate for both parents and children to help them achieve family reunification or other safe permanency options.
- Work closely with stakeholders to assess family needs, address safety issues, and create action plans.
Training and Support:
We provide a 13-week training program, pairing you with a mentor to help you develop essential skills. Training includes a mix of classroom sessions, field experience, and in-office guidance to ensure you’re fully equipped to succeed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Individuals who are empathetic, eager to learn, and passionate about helping families in crisis.
- Strong advocates who can effectively communicate with caregivers, children, and community partners to help children achieve permanency.
