Job Description:
Lead CT Technologist - Full Time
Up to a $15,000 Sign on Bonus for Full-time positions
** 4 DAY WORK WEEKS with 1 Weekend per month **
Hours- 40 hours per week
Schedule- 11:00am-9:00pm

About the Job:
Provides overall team leadership in the absence of the CT Supervisor. Assures that section–specific policies and protocols are followed as directed. Responsible for daily operations at the site relative to addressing patient issues, support issues, and general operational flow issues. Serves as a CT Technologist.
What You’ll Do:
Organizes, plans and coordinates activities relating to patients and procedures for designated area.
Supervises/coordinates the operational aspects with regard to service programs and the evaluation of each.
Performs CT Scan procedures based on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) “CT Scan Practice Standards” and the ASRT “Code of Ethics”.
Actively participates in quality control and quality assurance activities using the “APIE” model.
Completes annual mandatory education on time.
Participates in interviews and recommendation of candidates for employment within area of responsibility.
Develops a collaborative orientation plan for new employees at the site, with site-specific needs being addressed, and collaboratively with the section supervisor with respect to technical operations.
Who You Are:
Completion of formal Radiological Technologist training in an AMA approved school required. Additional CT Scanning training either formal or OJT is required.
Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Required
ARRT/CT certification required within 24 months.
Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
Demonstrates an understanding of human anatomy, human physiology, pathology, pharmacology, computer technology, basic patient care and assessment techniques, radiation physics, radiation biology, radiation protection, and medical terminology; Maintains knowledge about radiation protection, safety and current scanning protocols.
Maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
