Overview:
PET Technologist - PRN - Niles, IL
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordination of image on report function and archiving of images.
- Schedules procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
- Collects clinical data for patient follow-up and development of teaching and educational information.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Associates or Bachelors degree in Biology or nuclear medicine technology from an AMA accredited program.
- Minimum five to seven years experience in nuclear medicine, including two years of previous PET experience.
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable.
- GE Discovery 710 PET/CT scanner experience.
- Extensive experience in PET.
- Any experience with Lutathera and Pluvicto Therapies is a bonus.
