- Seeking an LCSW with experience and interest in developmental-behavioral pediatrics
- Knights of Columbus provides advanced care for children with a broad range of neuro-developmental disabilities and communication disorders. We work with a variety of pediatric patients, including those with: autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), language and social delays, intellectual disabilities, genetic disorders, associated developmental and behavioral concerns
- Clinical – Provides assessment, therapy, education and training services to patients and families.
- Resourcing - Provides information, support and serves as a community link to family centered efforts and activities. Resource Navigation/Partnerships: healthcare, social service agencies, schools, community events, activities, and resources.
- Experience Preferred: Pediatric Behavioral Health Therapist, Pediatrics
- Familiarity with Developmental Pediatrics, discrete trials, and behavior modification techniques
- Familiarity with autism diagnostic testing, i.e. ADOS – Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule
- Experience with evidence based behavioral therapy and social skills treatments (such as RUBI – Parent Behavioral Training Program and PEERS - Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills)
- Ability to provide New Diagnosis workshops for families.

Job Summary:
Provides social work assistance to patients and families as related to social determinants of health.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interviews patients, assesses priorities and documents case activity.
- May consult with members of the multi-disciplinary team in liaison with community resources to support the patient's treatment.
- Assists patients/families with obtaining community assistance by referral to proper resources.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with community health, welfare, and social agencies and seeks creative means to assist the patient with his/her needs.
- Active participant with other members of the team regarding opportunities for improvement in standard work.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Master's degree in Social Work

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

- Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping.
