As a Senior Manager, Revenue Growth Management, you will utilize your strategic go-to-market playbook design and analytical expertise to develop approaches that leverage pricing, promotion, assortment and trade management. Additionally, you’ll focus on portfolio pricing strategy, price pack architecture (PPA) and mix to drive top and bottom-line growth for our North America Away From Home Channels. This hybrid role ideally sits in Chicago or Naperville, IL with the expectation to be in the office Tuesday through Thursday.
Working with our North America Category teams and Away From Home leadership, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions by integrating analytics, business intelligence, and trade investment allocation of resources. You will be developing strategies to shape the growth of our business across Food Service and Small Format Channels spanning 20+ segments in a highly complex route-to-market across the total company portfolio.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Price/Promotion Insights& Strategy – Develop best practices by creating pricing and promotion principles. Optimize retailer-level pricing to enable profitable growth for Kellanova and its customers. Balance pricing and trade investment to optimize sales and return on investment, via developed guardrails and pictures of success, will be key to your success.
- Business Analytics– Leverage your analytical mindset to provide data, analysis, and insights to the sales team, ensuring your contributions are impactful. This will involve examining the impact of customer trends and overall macro-economic trends on price and promotions. Leveraging price and promotion tools, you will answer business questions and promote efficient pricing and promotion strategies, informing and enabling perfect store execution.
- Account Executive Support– Act as a crucial link between the Sales and commercial organization and business units on price and promotion analytics. This position manages the quality and delivery of price and promotion models/tools. Prioritizing business issues and effectively managing resources, you will work to meet Kellanova’s business needs.
- Internal Collaboration- Partner with Commercial Strategy, Sales, Finance, Category Management, Business Planning, and the Kellanova USA Revenue Management teams. Together, you will work to enable trade efficiency, pre/post-event analysis, and business understanding, driving valuable and actionable insights from the center out.
- Communication- Communicate effectively across multiple internal/external customers, building commitments through influence and persuasion, as this will be critical. Translating results into clear, concise presentations and written reports will enable internal and external customers to quickly make decisions.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s Degree required in business, finance, or a related field.
- Extensive experience applying analytical tools, frameworks, and leading practices to existing business problems as well as uncovering incremental opportunities.
- Ability to understand and explain complex methodologies and outcomes in ways customers can apply, translating internal ideation and views to external facing appetizing solutions.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including to executive functional leadership and field teams.
- Experience building and managing high performing teams and cross-functional leadership. Adept at working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of economic/financial concepts (e.g., price elasticity, pricing thresholds, trade rate, net sales, gross profit, econometrics, shopper behavior metrics).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and data/platforms such as Nielsen, Circana, shopper loyalty, space management, CRM, ERP, etc.
