Position: REMOTE Medical Patient Support Specialist
Pay: $16/hr. Weekly Pay plus Benefits Full-Time
Schedule: Mon-Sat. 8am-10pm CST (MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AN 8-HOUR SHIFT BETWEEN HOURS OF OPERATION)
Start Date: October 2024

Job Duties:
- Answer inbound calls and make some outbound calls assisting with medically related inquires.
- Using computer skills for data entry.
- Gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information.
- Operating according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program.
- Working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient.
Requirements: MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OR MORE OF CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- Previous experience in a medical office or call center (preferred).
- Must have High Speed Internet with modem access.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes (preferred).
- Proficient in computer systems, scheduling software, and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Excellent customer service skills with a patient-focused attitude.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
