This role, based in our North Sydney office, is a 12-month fixed-term contract, best suited for recent graduates or those in the early stages of their careers. About the Role:
As a Sales Specialist, Lead Generation Representative, you’ll be at the forefront of our sales efforts. This role is perfect for someone who is a eager to learn, enjoys connecting with people, and is passionate about exploring new business opportunities. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, making you an essential part of our growth strategy.
Ideally, you are a confident and articulate communicator, capable of engaging with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders. You’ll need to be comfortable initiating conversations, able to understand the customers challenges and building rapport quickly, whether over the phone, via email, or in person. Your ability to listen, understand customer needs, and ask insightful questions will be key to identifying potential business opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage with potential customers via phone and email to generate and qualify leads. Finding and qualifying leads through cold calling and marketing campaigns.
- Support the sales team by organising and helping our sales team schedule meetings
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.com and assist with reporting sales results.
- Learn about and share information on cyber security products, helping clients understand their value in a clear and concise way.
- Approach sales targets with a positive attitude, handling objections with confidence and persistence.
About You:
- A recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience, ideally with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or a TAFE Certificate IV.
- A natural communicator with strong, persuasive communication and presentation skills.
- Interested in sales and cyber security products with an ability to build relationships easily and a keen interest in understanding customer needs.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, with a knack for organizing data and keeping detailed records.
- Any experience in outbound call centers, telemarketing, or customer engagement is a plus.
- Fluent in English and familiar with the Australian market.
