Technology Aspect
Stellar Virtual does not currently provide all employees or contractors with the necessary equipment (i.e., computers, internet service, telephone, home office setup, etc.) required for employment. Depending on your position, you may be assigned a company-issued device to use throughout your tenure of employment.
Scope of Work
Provide customer care services to Stellar Virtual clients.
- Actively respond to customer inquiries through the Stellar Virtual Customer Care platform.
- Ensure all responses are timely and resolutions are efficient.
- Monitor Customer Care communication platforms to ensure timely responses and resolution.
- Direct messages, questions, and concerns to relevant personnel to ensure prompt and effective addressing.
- Respond to families via email, phone, and text regarding general questions.
- Direct families to the Let's Talk platform for further assistance.
- Field questions regarding major Stellar Virtual initiatives such as enrollment, attendance, curriculum, testing, and grades.
- Ensure inquiries are answered in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Stellar Virtual products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide a seamless customer service experience.
- Participate in the development and implementation of customer service improvement initiatives.
- Weekly report on customer inquiries handled, including response times and resolution outcomes.
- Monthly summary of feedback received from customers and suggestions for service improvements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

Education & Certification Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but is not required.
- At least three years of working in a customer service capacity in a school setting is required.
Contractor Details
- Duration: Start date through June 30 of the following year.
- Compensation: $15.00/Hour, Project-Based (Customer Service Only)
- Hours: 15-20 per week; no more than 29 per week.
- Reporting: The Independent Contractor will report to the Service Desk Manager.

The pay range for this role is:
15 - 16 USD per hour (Remote - United States)
