Paramedics play a key role in our team environment. Our paramedics are responsible for ensuring that the health care needs of our clients are met in conjunction with our Nurse team.
Here’s how
- Respond to emergency situations of both medical and traumatic nature
- Assist nurse with clinic duties such as patient history taking, vital signs, and patient charting, etc.
- Perform Ambulance checks
- Inspect and maintain emergency equipment
- Onsite equipment checks
- Inventory of medical supplies and drugs
- Various clerical duties
- Aid in statistical data gathering for all clinic visits
- Aid in the development and distribution of educational material
- Assist in preparing patients and transfer of care to local Health authority ambulance service
- Performs audits as required (first aid kits, Employer notification forms, clinic QA)
- Assists in training and orientation of new medic hires
- Drug & Alcohol testing
