Our client, in the cold storage service industry, is seeking a Inventory Clerk/QC Specialist to join their team. As a Inventory Clerk, you will be part of the Receiving department supporting the Quality Control Team.. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Suite programs (Exel, Word) and Forklift operations which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inventory Controls Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA.
Shift: 5pm to 230am, Monday thru Friday
Pay Range: $20-21
What’s the Job? Under general supervision, the Checker/Inventory Control will coordinate and expedite the flow of products according to shipment schedule by checking paperwork against product.
- The responsibilities include checking, counting, inspecting, and verifying the paperwork and the product as it is unloaded from trucks, and before it is loaded onto trucks.
- Access computerized product of customer information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
- Evaluate the accuracy and proficiency of the warehouse personnel
- Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders.
What’s Needed?
- Knowledge of filing systems
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- 2 years of Forklift, scissor lift experience required
- At least one-year related work experience in Quality Control and/or Inventory Control practices.
