Responsibilities What’s a typical day as a Billing Customer Service Representative? You’ll be:
- Efficiently filtering, gathering, and organizing customer and account information from multiple sources.
- Collaborating with the Sales team, customer master team, and ASP capital team to coordinate customer support and resolve account setup or order entry issues.
- Utilizing critical decision-making skills to assess and resolve customer price discrepancy issues on the first contact.
- Providing clear and concise support via phone and email.
- Accurately determining the type of support required and escalating to the appropriate resource when necessary.
- Taking ownership and accountability for all handled contacts.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Working with National Service Contracts to ensure accurate pricing and special instruction communication for each contract.
- Developing process improvements for order processing, price discrepancy reporting, and other metrics based on special projects.
- Managing documentation effectively.
QualificationsThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have 3-5 years of experience in customer service.
- Have a bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Have experience in the medical device industry (preferred).
- Have strong computer skills in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Are proficient with computers and able to flex with multiple systems and applications without intimidation.
- Learn and understand a wealth of information and systems readily.
- Quickly process and apply information to critically think through the best approach.
- Are comfortable being productive in a sedentary situation for an 8-hour workday.
- Don't mind repetition.
- Have demonstrated a strong desire and motivation to build relationships with the Sales Department, instill trust, and resolve Sales inquiries.
- Own your actions and words to each other and to customers.
- Work well as part of a team by collaborating and maintaining productive, harmonious relationships.
- Are able to multi-task, plan, organize, and manage changing priorities.
- Have clear and effective oral and written communication skills and able to display self-discipline and focus.
- Have document management experience (preferred).
- Have SAP and CRM experience (preferred).
- Have great attention to detail.
