We’re growing, and we want you to be a part of it. We are currently looking for an experienced Licensing Administrator to join our remote team.
Summary:
Under the direction of the Business Operations Controller, the Licensing Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support, oversight, research, and completion of Licensing and Compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works to maintain compliance with state DOIs related to the services provided. Know the types of licenses issued by state Departments of Insurance, including the application process, the renewal process, documentation requirements, and other requirements related to obtaining, maintaining, or terminating DOI licenses.Â
- Knowledgeable of Secretary of State of State filings for LLCs and Corporations, including foreign registration, name reservations, amendments, and dissolutions. And works to maintain compliance with state SOSs related to the services provided.
- Complete assigned work tasks with accuracy and, when applicable, make corrections as directed by an appropriate party, including but not limited to a supervisor, license holder, or state official.
- Monitors license expiration dates and task due dates to ensure timely completion of all assigned licensing tasks, including, but not limited to, new license requests, license renewals, address or name changes, and SOS annual filings.
- Notify appropriate parties via required procedures when using a company-issued credit card or company-owned bank account.
- Use the technology and other resources related to completing all assigned licensing tasks.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume position, deliver timely and accurate work products with customer service focus, and respond with a sense of urgency as required
- Work independently, take initiative, and work with little supervision
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate and build positive working relationships with all levels within the organization
- Organize tasks efficiently to meet timely deliverables; notify management when schedules are not met; recommend and implement alternatives/options to minimize delay.
- Follow appropriate protocols to ensure confidentiality of sensitive data, including, but not limited to, login credentials, client personally identifiable information, and payment information.
- Completes any other assigned tasks related to company operations as directed by the supervisor. This includes supporting the supervisor or team.
- Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 1+ years of License Management experience or 2+ years of comparable insurance industry or regulatory experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Organized, flexible, patient, creative and resourceful
- Accuracy and an eye for detail
- Computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease
- Self-starter and able to take initiative
- Exemplify the Veracity core principles through words and actions
