Overview
Smile Brands is a dominant player in the dental space and we are seeking a Credentialing specialist to join our team. In this role your focus and responsibilities include maintaining and verifying provider files along, monitoring license and credential expiration dates, and advising providers of required “renew by” dates. This can be either a Hybrid opportunity in Costa Mesa, CA; or a remote opportunity.Â
Schedule (days/hours)
Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications
- Screen practitioners’ applications and supporting documentation to ascertain their eligibility
- Capture primary source documentation in computer databases
- Respond to dental plan provider inquiries
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, procedures, and policies
Qualifications
- Knowledge of provider credentialing and privileging procedures and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to communicate professionally providers, colleagues, etc.Â
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of credentialing experience
- Previous experience in healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or related administrative roles
- Computer literate with proficiency in web-based products and ability to learn new applications easily
Compensation
$18 - $24 per hour
