Job Summary
The Global Benefits & Leave Manager will serve as a subject matter expert for Continuum Global Solutions employee leave policies, employee benefits information, insurance plans, enrollment options, eligibility, coverage, and claims. The overall purpose is to manage the day-to-day functions of our global benefit plans and assist employees with enrollment of group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, COBRA, worker’s compensation, 401(k), life insurance, flexible spending plans, and HSA Plans. This individual will partner with HR colleagues and executives to ensure that all programs align with Continuum Global Solutions’ strategic objectives.
The Global Benefits & Leave Manager will ensure all legal and other regulatory requirements across multiple countries are followed. The position requires a team player with high attention to detail, who exhibits exemplary follow through and problem-solving skills, and who continually seeks to implement process improvement.

Role Reports into: Director of Compensation & Benefits
Job Responsibilities:Â Â
- Manage employee benefit and leave administration programs globally.
- Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment activities.
- Prepare, and distribute benefits enrollment materials and document procedures for benefit enrollments.
- Process plan changes and benefit related claims, prepare, and conduct benefits meetings.
- Conduct annual open enrollment benefits orientations and explain benefits enrollment systems.
- Reviews benefit invoices from benefit carriers to ensure accuracy for Continuum billing.
- Serve as a liaison between Continuum and carriers or third-party administrators.
- Respond to benefits inquiries from employees relating to status changes, plan provisions, and other general inquiries.
- Process leaves of absence requests, disability paperwork, FMLA, medical and personal leaves. Works directly with the leave of absence carrier to resolve employee inquiries regarding leaves.
- Manage electronic files between systems and audit benefit information for accuracy and consistency.
- Research, explore, recommend, design, and implement innovative programs to ensure best plans, value, and options for employees.Â
- Provide verification reports to monitor the quality of and compliance with attendance, leave, and workers compensation policies/ practices.
- Prepare and distribute utilization of our benefit reports.
- Influence executive leadership decision making by providing data analysis that predicts future costs.
- Assists with annual compliance tasks such as ACA reporting, 1095-Cs, FSA and 401k non-discrimination testing, workers compensation auditing, etc.
Additional Requirements: Job Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Experience with government mandated employee leave law across multiple countries.
- 3 -5 years’ experience administering benefits and leave requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of HR functions with an emphasis on benefits.
- Strong knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations filing and compliance requirements and other laws affecting benefit programs including ACA, ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, workers’ compensation, Medicare, and Social Security and DOL requirements.
- Global mindset to tackle diverse needs with a desire to solve tough problems.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast paced, changing environment.
- Fluent with Microsoft Applications i.e., Excel, Word, and Power Point are strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and group presentation skills.
