Job Description
Responsibilities
Responsible for timely and complete disposition of charity applications and information needed by self pay collectors. Uses analytical skills to ensure charity applications are complete and ready to be reviewed. Prepares accounts and keys in adjustments for charity. Understands the support they provide in order for established Norton Healthcare goals to be met : Charity Percentages, Collection WIP, Billing WIP, A/R Days, Cash Collection Goal, Bad Debt Goal, Recovery Percentage, etc.
**This position has the opportunity to work from home. You may be asked to complete training at a Norton Healthcare facility or be able to come to a Norton Healthcare facility for business purposes. Employees in this role must reside in Kentucky or Indiana**
Qualifications
Required:
- One year in a healthcare setting
Desired:
- One year in a high volume or multi-facility healthcare setting
- High School Diploma or GED
