JOB DESCRIPTION
· Responsible for answering inbound customer service calls related to patient authorization questions for surgeries
· Answering calls regarding Pre-cert to general status
· Answer inbound customer service calls and make some outbound follow-up calls in a professional, service-oriented manner
· Answer the calls timely without drops/abandons
· Assist the caller with their questions, concerns, or problems with a focus on first-call resolution
· Facilitate resolution by referring the matter to the issue/content expert
· Will be up to 80+ calls a day
· Handle inbound calls from providers can start at pre-certification to status questions

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· 1-3 years of Customer Service Experience
· Reliable Internet Connection
· Detail Oriented & Medical Terminology Knowledge
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.
· Have a remote space -- (like an office or private area since there are HIPPA regulations)
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook
Ability to multitask in a high-volume center
