Minimum Eligibility Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, eCommerce, Marketing, Communication or related field required
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Merchandising and Ecommerce
• Attention to detail, creativity, and knowledge of information technology and data feeds
• Ability to learn quickly; positive attitude; excellent time management; organized, and possess strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cross functionally with a team to execute tasks and projects and achieve desired results
• Ability to grow and evolve as the fast-paced eCommerce industry continues to progress
• Microsoft Office & familiarity with Google Analytics and PowerBI
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud and eCommerce Marketing experience is a plus
• Experienced in project planning and project management.
• Excellent written and graphic communication skills (ie. grammar, formatting)
Essential Functions
• Executes online product creation and online merchandising efforts such as:
• Product categorization/merchandising
• Search strategies
• Product content, imagery, etc.
• Reviews product data daily including:
• Completing full detailed reviews for new items created
• Enhancing products with necessary website attributes using established guidelines
• Identifying opportunities for improvements in processes
• Communicating with merchant teams on data discrepancies/product related questions and resolving in a timely manner
• Maintains correct product assortment including:
• Identifying opportunities for improvements
• Identifying and solving for potential gaps in assortment strategies
• Looking for efficiencies in executing merchandising strategies
• Adjusting the assortment weekly as necessary
• Removing products at the end of their lifecycle
• Coordinates category specific initiatives in partnership with Merchant team in an effort to drive revenue
• Attends meetings with merchant teams
• Presents key category business metrics to merchant teams including comparative analysis
• Outlines key merchandising strategies & opportunities/recommendations for improvement
• Follows up with merchant teams on outstanding tasks from previous meetings
• Assists in larger site merchandising executions
• QA’s Merchandising tasks in staging & constantly reviews production site for accuracy including data and imagery discrepancies
• Troubleshoots website issues that may occur and loops in correct cross-functional partners for resolution. Communicates with appropriate parties on timing, urgency, & priorities of issues that arise.
• Constantly works to ensure consistency and optimal digital experiences in both the desktop and mobile shopping channels as well as overall connected customer initiatives
• Other duties as assigned that are pertinent to the business
working conditions (travel, environment)
• Limited travel required including air and car travel
• The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements
