Description
• Provides food and beverage service to club members and guests.
Job Tasks / Duties:
• Sets up section according to reservations and performs assigned section side work
• Provides immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating:
• Greeting member by name when possible
• If unable, ask for member # in order to look up in Jonas
• Remember to refer to member by name
• Inquire with members if there are any special time constraints, etc
• Distribute menus
• Fill glasses with water, answer questions and suggest menu items /offer specials
• Takes member and guests orders
• Use Jonas to turn orders into the kitchen:
• Verbally inform cooks about any special cooking instructions, allergies, etc
• Assemble food
• Gather food items from each cooking station as necessary
• Serve meals
• Place dishes by courses in front of each guest
• Serve from the left of guest
• Check back with members/guests to ensure satisfaction (within two (2) minuets)
• Replenish water, beverages, etc as necessary
• Offer wine / cocktail with dinner
• Remove soiled dishes
• Suggest and serve dessert, coffee and after dinner drinks
• Verify accuracy of prices and other charges on all checks
• Present the bill, thank guest and invite them to return (suggest upcoming event)
• Always get member signature on chit
• Keep tables, dining area and bus station clean and tidy
• Complete closing side work per section
• Turn in chits in to MOD at end of shift
• Insure all chits have member number on them
• Insure all chits are signed by member
• Insure organization of completed / closed chits are in numerical order (highest on top)
Additional Responsibilities:
• Server must be aware of all upcoming Minikahda Club events
• Server should know all hours of operation, including golf shop, etc
• Servers are required to attend Food and Beverage trainings
• Servers are required to attend Minikahda training
• Servers may not clock in earlier that 5 minutes prior to shift meetings start time
• Server must be in complete uniform and ready to work when clocking in
• Servers will be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
