Star Tribune is seeking to hire part-time Warehouse Loaders. We have multiple openings in our Fleet Department, and we are looking for candidates who can start immediately! Warehouse Loaders will manually receive newspaper bundles from the conveyor and load and unload newspapers into trucks and carts. This position is part of the final process of newspaper production. It requires bending ... lifting, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours per shift.
Qualifications
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Bending, lifting, twisting, and standing up to 8 hours per shift
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
• Read and follow directions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
Schedule: Flexible work schedule Monday through Sunday. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Starting pay: This is a union position with a starting pay of $16.19/hour
Warehouse Loader offers are contingent on the successful completion of a pre-placement physical, drug screen, employment verification, and criminal background check.
