Cleaning staff keep assigned locations, such as offices, factories, financial institutions, or medical buildings in clean and orderly condition. Understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written. Also maintain a level of professionalism regarding punctuality, dependability, and communication.
Basic duties include ... • Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Talk with co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Performs cleaning and sanitation of common areas
• Performs cleaning and sanitation of touch points, light switches, knobs, etc.
• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing of bathrooms and breakrooms
• Performs general floor maintenance (i.e., mopping, vacuuming)
• Performs trash removal
• Maintains a neat and orderly janitors’ closet/area; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Must pass a background check.
• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• No felony convictions
• Must be 18 or older
