A Pearl Banquet Server reports directly to the Food & Beverage Director and is responsible for fostering the Pearl culture within the Food & Beverage department for Pearl Hospitality. The Banquet Server is responsible for the successful serving of guest during a banquet function and must ensure a positive guest experience. The Banquet Server must focus on providing exceptional customer satisfaction by the successful execution of banquets. All hotel operations must be executed at the highest level of professionalism and courtesy. The Banquet Server must ensure that our associates and our customers are treated with the utmost respect at all times since they are the key to our success.

• Maintain a safe working environment through compliance of safety and health department guidelines
• Understand and comply with emergency procedures
• Set up banquet room as instructed by supervisor to include linen, service ware and glassware
• Attend meeting before events to understand function and menus
• Serve guests during banquet functions to ensure positive guest experience
• Serve food and/or beverage in order and to the expectation of supervisor for consistency
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items
• Ability to transport up to 30 lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal
• Abide by all legal requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
• Upon banquet completion, reset banquet room according to supervisor’s specifications
• Check server and house person Banquet Event Orders to ensure that all information is accurate
• Deliver the best product at the highest brand and procedural standards
• Manage guest relations in the most positive and effective manner
• Interact positively with customers and take action to resolve issues to maintain high guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of the food stations and function area
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
• Ensure approved uniforms are being worn at all times including nametag
• Treat guests, associates, vendors and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times
• Perform other tasks that are deemed necessary to the success of Pearl, the hotel and the associates
