Requirements (Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification):
• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of work related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 to 3 years of work related experience, including 2 years of Juvenile Court work experience.
• Diversion, Equity and Inclusion experience.
Special Working Conditions and/or Hazards:
• Employees work indoors and are protected from weather conditions or contaminants, but not necessarily occasional temperature changes.
Job Duties:
• Registers public for Court in JCMS and maintains docket sheets for use by Case Managers.
• Directs the public, attorneys and agency personnel to assigned courtrooms and correct locations.
• Answers telephone and directs calls to proper locations.
• Maintains the Cora Line for the Court, assists the public with calls regarding Dependency hearing dates and times, and directs calls to the Public Defender's office, when appropriate.
• Facilitates paperwork for Emergency Orders, ensuring that the Court and all parties have necessary pleadings in a timely manner.
• Sorts and distributes mail.
• Assists with scanning.
• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must possess analytical skills/abilities, which include: Ability to answer questions and guide individuals who need information about court hearing locations.
• Must possess clerical/administrative skills/abilities, which include: Ability to type accurately and efficiently in a variety of systems, write legibly and demonstrate excellent clerical skills.
• Must possess computer/technical skills/abilities, which include: Ability to operate a computer and use computer software, including, but not limited to: GroupWise, Microsoft Office and JCMS.
• Must possess project/process management skills/abilities, which include: Ability to perform duties in an organized and efficient manner, demonstrating excellent organizational skills, time management skills and a high degree of precision.
• Must possess written and oral communication skills/abilities, which include: Ability to communicate professionally, courteously and effectively in person, in writing, and over the phone; Ability to maintain positive, professional working relationships with associates, supervisors, officials and the general public;
• Must possess job knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, resources of Hamilton County benefits available to the public, and Juvenile Court personnel policies and procedures
