Palletizer Operator • 3rd shift $15.87 per hour
Must be able to read the production schedule to identify and verify pallet usage, case count, layer height, case code, and pallet tag code • Operates the palletizer machine to ensure accurate quantity of cases, correct pallets, and pattern are used per the customer order • Must be able to operate palletizer machine and troubleshoot machine to ensure production is maintained • Assist with changeover of palletizer • Operate shrink wrap machine and troubleshoot as needed • Operates forklift to load empty pallets into machine and to move finished pallets to appropriate warehouse staging area • Use RF scanner to scan tags and place in the correct staging area for the warehouse employees to put in correct bin locations • Use pallet inverter as needed per customer specification • Complete quality checks and document as directed by Quality Assurance • Able to operate computer system to keep track of pallet tags created by company’s tracking ... system • Must complete LOTO training and follow job specific LOTO procedures for all equipment during the LOTO process • Keep work area clean and orderly at all times; during periods of downtime, clean and/or sweep floor area • Other duties as assigned by supervisor • Ensure safety of self and others in area by following The Fremont Company’s Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Standards • Must complete food safety, workplace safety, and job specific training per The Fremont Company’s training guidelines • Must be certified to operate forklift and follow all safety guidelines according to OSHA standard
