We are currently hiring a Packaging Maintenance Technician in Cincinnati, OH ... This position is responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance and repairs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machinery.
What You'll Brew:
• Must observe and practice all Brewery Safety Procedures. Includes wearing the proper PPE always on the Packaging Floor.
• Must be able to work in and promote a team oriented and “Safety First” environment. Safely, efficiently and effectively work to attain department and brewery goals and objectives.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with all team peers by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs during each shift.
• Work autonomously to diagnose and repair instrumental and process malfunctions.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; uses hoists, cranes and power tools; examines form and texture of parts.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Ability to endure daily, excessive walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, lifting (excess of 60lbs), twisting, climbing, reaching
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, climb flights of stairs, work from elevated areas, and wear eye protection, a respirator and/or hearing protection when required by the job.
• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate hand tools and industrial machinery such as a truck or fork-lift areas and is usually loud. Occasionally work from elevated areas (ladders, platforms, and others as required)
What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
• 4+ years’ experience in mechanical, industrial maintenance including troubleshooting, repair and PM.
• 5+ years’ work experience in production manufacturing environment
• Experience with high-speed packaging systems.
• Experience and or knowledge of PLC’s/HMI’s, electrical protective devices.
• Good math, oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to be flexible and shift priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment.
• Self-starter, proactive.
• Need to be service oriented to support internal customers.
• 480v 3 phase knowledge required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMMS) a plus.
• Knowledge and practice of NFPA 70E preferred.
• Experience with VFD’s, control systems (PLC’s/HMI’s), electrical protective devices with knowledge of calibration procedures and equipment including Fluke and Transcat.

In accordance with pay transparency laws and Company policy, please be aware that the pay rate for this role, if hired, is determined by the collective bargaining agreement with the applicable Union. As of the time of posting, pay for this position starts at $30.83 per hour. Consistent with the collective bargaining agreement, pay rate will increase incrementally thereafter based on seniority.
