We have immediate openings in Baytown for experienced Forklift and/or Reach Truck Operators with a starting pay rate of $16-$17.50 , depending on experience and equipment knowledge. Responsibilities:
• Must be able to operate of sit-down forklift, 1-3+ years experience (Cherry Picker/Reach truck experience is a huge plus)
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions
• Work OT when needed (last minute request will occur)
• Attendance and punctuality are important
• Must be able to work in a congested area(s)
• RF scanner experience / scanning required
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Additional information: not limited to just driving forklift - must label, band, stretch wrap and clean drums and totes. Some restacking of bags and pails will be required.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and adjust body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat and grab; walking and sitting for extended periods
Requirements:
• Must have 1-3 years forklift experience in a logistics environment
• Handling of hazardous material is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language
• Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
