• Assist Company drivers in completing moves with high customer satisfaction.
• Assist with the preparation of the residence/office to prevent property damage.
• Properly pad, wrap, pack, and secure household goods/office materials in cartons for safe interstate transportation.
• Carry furniture and boxes to/from truck and job site.
• Load and properly secure items for transportation and unloading.
• Position items at residence/office to customer’s specifications.
• Utilize appropriate safety equipment to move furniture and cartons.
• Clean, restock truck with necessary supplies.
• Be friendly, courteous, and professional and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
• Measure, weight, and count products and materials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Record product packaging and order information on specified forms and records.
• Lines and pad crates and assembles carto ns.
• Obtains and sorts product.
• Wraps protective material around household goods.
• Inserts goods into containers.
• Closes and seals containers. Labels containers, container tags, and products.
• Packs special arrangements or selections of household items.
• Inspects materials, items, and containers at each step of packaging process
