Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a courier vehicle to deliver packages and documents to designated locations - Load and unload packages using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as necessary - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of packages - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and collecting payments if required - Communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning
Experience:
- Previous experience as a courier driver or in a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus - Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is required - Strong navigational skills and knowledge of local roads and routes - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Ability to lift heavy packages and load/unload them safely - Good communication skills and customer service-oriented mindset Note:
