Peabody Properties is seeking an experience Cleaner to join the property management team at an apartment community in Somerville, MA. The Cleaner maintains a high-quality level of cleanliness in the building’s common areas and vacant apartments, and assures the exterior grounds are maintained according to Peabody standards ... Functions of the Position:
• Keeps common areas of buildings and grounds free of debris.
• Rubbish and trash removal.
• Washes windows.
• Cleans/vacuums hallways and building entrances.
• Sweeps and mops floors of entranceways, laundry, mechanical and community rooms.
• Dusts railings, moldings, mailboxes, window ledges and other needed areas.
• Delivers notices/newsletters to residents.
• Prepares vacant apartments for move-ins, including cleaning all appliances, floors, cabinets, bathrooms, doors and closets.
• Maintains cleanliness of management office and public lavatories.
• Waters plants/grass; weeding and planting of flower beds, if required.
• Mows lawns, when required.
• Provides snow removal services including shoveling snow, spreading ice melt, etc. to assure walkways are adequately maintained and safe for residents.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by your Supervisor/Service Manager or other senior staff to facilitate effective operations of Peabody.
Education And Experience
• Requires High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of previous cleaning experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
