Adecco is working with a leading distributor of supplies and equipment for the professional pest management industry, has an opportunity for a Forklift Operator. This position will work individually and with a team to maintain the warehouse and inventory, pack and ship orders, and serve customers by meeting their needs and helping to resolve issues. This role is on 1st shift, with a schedule from ... 7am-4pm.
Responsibilities
• Handle all picking, packing, and shipping of products via LTL and UPS
• Manage inventory placement, product counts, and upkeep
• Maintain delivery and shipping documents
• Provide a high level of customer service, establish and maintain customer relations, and communicate order and delivery information with customers
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
• Comply with all OSHA regulations
• Assist Customer Service Representatives and Salespeople with incoming orders
• Other duties as required
Qualifications
• Two years of warehouse experience. Forklift and pallet jack experience, a plus
• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• Available to begin early mornings Monday – Friday, and have reliable transportation to on-site location
• Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
• Basic computer experience or knowledge, a plus
Physical Requirements
• Routinely bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
