Position Purpose:
Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse, Worker, you will support the shipping and/or receiving functions activities within our warehouse.
As a warehouse associate, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, building boxes, and building carts.
The Shipper is a warehouse employee responsible for fulfilling orders by arranging products in boxes and preparing them for shipment. Their duties include interpreting on-screen prompts to determine which items need to be sent out, performing quality control assessments, and arranging items safely and securely in the right packaging.
The Picker is a warehouse employee who uses an automated headset system and physically pulls inventory from the shelves and places items in the correct boxes to ensure order accuracy.
• * Both Pickers and Shippers will help in other departments such as cart build and box build, end of the line, and all other duties requested by their supervisor **
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift
Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish products, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience 6+ months of experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack
Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
