SAIC is searching for an Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative, clerical, and/or secretarial support to the Program Manager as well as the embedded Customer ... Work will be performed onsite in California, MD 5 days a week and is therefore open to candidates local to the area only. Position may become hybrid based on work performance. Secret clearance is required.
Job Duties:
Performs routine and non-routine tasks including special projects. May be responsible for scheduling and arranging for meetings, for researching and securing requested information, and for researching, compiling and proofing of various reports and studies. May take and/or transcribe confidential or technical information, take and distribute meeting minutes, order supplies, distribute mail, answer phones, respond to customer/client/employee inquiries, and other office administrative duties as required. Interacts with other support staff and departments to gather, supply, or coordinate information. General supervision and instructions given for routine work, and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.
Routine responsibilities include:
• Compile, review, and edit contract deliverable reports, and submit to customer.
• Manage partner email and internal SAIC environment accounts.
• Prepare 1172-2 forms for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.
• Prepare SAAR-N, DD-2875, and DFC forms for government account and asset issuance.
• Maintain electronic records.
• Serve as a liaison between customer and contractors.
• Provide quarterly status updates on contract initiatives.
• Book travel and submit expense reports.
• Ensure contractors complete trainings and certifications in compliance with contract requirements.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School and two (2) years or more related experience.
• Experienced and proficient in MS Office tool suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• a minimum of a Secret clearance is required
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multitasking environment
• Recent experience working with government funded programs
