Summary:
As part of our night shift warehouse crew, your main task will be pulling orders for that day’s deliveries. You’ll load these orders onto carts, and help the drivers get everything on their trucks. Towards the end of your shift you’ll also stock products from returns and/or incoming shipments. You will be essential in helping us ‘deliver the good stuff’, since correct and complete orders lead to satisfied customers!
Job Duties:
• Accurately pulling cases and pieces for order fulfillment and assembly using pick lists for each order, and correctly placing labels on each product, in a low temperature freezer environment (sub-zero degrees).
• Stack product on pallets, and on distribution carts to be loaded in box truck manually, in accordance with proper stacking procedures (e.g. heavy products at the bottom, light products on top, labels facing out, etc.)
• Assist drivers with loading products onto route trucks.
• Cycle count inventory at regular intervals.
• Assist with unloading, breaking down, and verifying incoming freight.
• Responsible for ensuring that the assigned work area is cleaned each night.
• Responsible to report any damage to equipment, racks or inventory breakage to a supervisor.
• Responsible to report any potential problems to a supervisor.
• Strictly adhere to all safety rules.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Experience working in freezers
• 21+ years of age
• Must have reliable transportation and record of job reliability.
• Pass pre-employment testing (Background Check).
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to safety regulations
• Have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Preferred Qualifications:
• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
• Experience working with frozen food
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, order picker, and box cutter.
Professional Skills:
• Meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company.
• Meet or exceed established cases per error goals.
• Demonstrate effective communication and problem resolution skills.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced team environment.
• Develop a good working knowledge of product and inventory control techniques and procedures.
• Maintain ongoing inter-department communications related to order picking, safety, and customer relations.

• Stand for extended periods of time; frequently bend, twist, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, turn body, and walk.
• Frequently lift, push, or move product ranging in weight up to 50lbs to and from heights ranging from floor to knee, waist, shoulder, and overhead.
• Use hands and fingers to peel and stick labels on cases.
• Handle and feel objects and/or equipment controls
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches with hands and arms to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart.
• Must have the ability to talk and hear; must be able to hear warning horns on moving machinery and equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close and distance vision, depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to climb on and off ladders, the box of the truck, and power equipment.
• At times, transport product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly work near moving mechanical apparatus and will regularly be exposed to vibration and moderate to high noise levels. The work environment includes working alongside forklift and pallet jacks. Walking and working is done on concrete flooring. You will be required to work within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer.
This is a night shift position, with shift starting at 10pm and ending at 7am, Monday through Friday (you’ll arrive for your Monday shift Sunday evening at 10pm). This shift includes an hour for lunch and 2-10 minute breaks.
