Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly ... - Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience
- Knowledge of basic math for handling payments and making change
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing (experience with OpenTable is a plus)
- Time management skills to ensure efficient service while maintaining quality standards
