We are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. We are looking for an effective administrator who is highly organized, goal-oriented and creative.
This position is responsible for performing administrative and office support that includes fielding telephone calls, event planning, receiving and directing emails, word processing, creating spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, filing and data entry. This position will also be responsible for entering claims into the computer system and then filing the electronic copy of the claim, making copies as needed, composing letters and other office memos as required and answering telephone calls.

General Responsibilities:
• Customer Services to include answering phones, greeting customers.
• Process and review insurance documentation and ensure all documents are complete.
• Take payments from customers and process through Remote Deposit System.
• Maintain office/employee supply inventory.
• Serve as a back-up for other jobs as necessary
• Gain in-depth and thorough understanding of aviation insurance and P&C.
• File and maintain customer insurance files. This information is personal and confidential.
• Computer skills and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel…etc.)
• Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
• Maintain office calendar
• Provides information by answering questions and requests from Agents and Clients
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s Degree in business administration or related field preferred
• 2+ years work experience in administrative support, customer service, or insurance industry is preferred
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to use Excel and standard word-processing programs
• Ability to work well with others as part of a professional high-performance team

• Proven track record of strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient data entry skills

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.
