The District Attorney's Office of Boulder County is hiring an Administrative Technician. The Administrative Technician performs a variety of non-routine and complex office duties requiring a familiarity with departmental operations and a moderate degree of independent judgement.

Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range: $48,312 - $53,000 Annually
This position is not eligible to work from home.
• Answer all incoming phone calls
• Assist the public in person and on the phone by answering questions and providing information that requires some interpretation of policies and regulations
• Develop and maintain efficient filing systems
• Sort and route mail
• Maintain office supply inventory and orders supplies as needed
• Review, verify and process documents requiring knowledge of departmental procedures and legal/nonlegal documents
• Utilize specialized computer applications, including office specific program, ACTION
• Review arraignment dockets and close cases
• Perform specialized projects that are of technical and confidential in nature
• Distribute electronic, physical media, and paper discovery to defense attorneys and pro-se defendants
• Scan and track incoming subpoena waivers
• Schedule and maintain calendars with co-workers for backup and coverage
• Operate office equipment such as personal computer, photocopier, scanner, postage meter, and other related equipment
• Knowledge of Microsoft TEAMS phones and equipment
• Knowledge of specialized in-office computer systems
• Knowledge of court computer systems and e-filing
• Knowledge of office staff and their roles
• Perform related work as required
• May be reassigned in case of emergency situations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of relevant education and experience is encouraged. In this position, we are looking for a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of office experience. Additional related education may count towards required experience.
