CO Salary Range: USD 83,600.00 per year
The MAS2 US ADC Periphery team is hiring a Systems Engineer to support development in Amazon Dedicate Cloud (ADC) regions across a variety of AWS services including AWS Internet of Things (IoT), AWS High Performance Computing (HPC), and the AWS Snow Family! You'll design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools and systems to provide a ... highly-available and resilient platform for our customers' and our team's workloads.
Would you like to implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve the world's most complex technical problems? Do you have a deep passion and desire to engineer and operate the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure to build a better world for future generations? This is an exciting opportunity to use the latest cloud computing technologies to help U.S. Government agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems. AWS established a specialized group of service teams responsible for the work we are doing with the U.S. Intelligence Community. We are building some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world, and we need adaptable people to help us implement and operate them.
The Periphery team supports the AWS Internet of Things (IoT), AWS High Performance Computing (HPC), and the AWS Snow Family products and services for US Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) customers. AWS IoT is a managed cloud platform that lets connected devices easily and securely interact with cloud applications and other devices. AWS IoT can support billions of devices and trillions of messages, and can process and route those messages to AWS endpoints and to other devices reliably and securely. AWS HPC helps customers run large, complex simulations and deep learning workloads in the cloud with a complete suite of high performance computing products and services on AWS. AWS Snow Family provides customers with ruggedized and secure devices, designed to survive rough handling and harsh operating environments where data needs to be collected, processed, and securely managed as it is moved to the Cloud.
The candidate selected must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI with polygraph level. Upon start, the selected candidate will be sponsored for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
