Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team. Your responsibilities will include managing the movement of merchandise through various stages of shipping, receiving, storage, distribution, and order fulfillment. Tasks will include ensuring the accuracy of goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining meticulous records of goods, packaging products for final shipment, operating material handling equipment, and managing the stock and distribution of merchandise within inventory warehouses. This is a long-term opportunity within a bustling warehouse team, situated in a larger facility with a dedicated team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven ability to interpret written and visual work instructions
• Experience or ability to work in a clean room environment
• Cycle counts
• Picking from materials sheet or order sheet
• Helping to package for outgoing products
• Verifying inventory
• Restock production floor as needed
• Prepare documentation for outgoing shipments
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively
Work Environment:
You will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift in a warehouse team of 7-10 people, located within a larger facility with approximately 200 dedicated employees.
