Surface Miner/General Labor
JENNMAR Services is currently looking for Surface Miners/General Laborers in the Fairplay, CO or surrounding areas. Our company develops strategies for addressing heavy metal contamination at mine sites across the US. In addition, our company is able to partner with property owners to provide investment in treatment solutions at mine sites in certain jurisdictions in ... the United States.

Job Qualifications of the Surface Miner/General Labor:
• Driver's License (REQUIRED)
• Be capable of working in a team environment, as well as individually in any given situation
• Be capable of using small hand tools and power tools
• Be able to withstand lifting and squatting. Bending and twisting and manual dexterity required
• General labor work related to equipment including maintenance and minor repairs
• General Conveyor Belt Maintenance (Inspecting conveyor belts, rollers, structures, pulleys & gear boxes).
• Completing preventative maintenance routines.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical problems related to all material handling equipment.
• Keep walkways clear of debris
• Hose, sweep or shovel material along the belt lines to keep up good housekeeping
• Lock out/tag out knowledge
Required Trainings and PPE of the Surface Miner/General Labor:
• MSHA Part 48 Surface Miner (will be provided if needed)
• Eye Protection
• Hardhat
• Safety Vest
• Steel toed boots
Work Schedule of the Surface Miner/General Labor:
• Day shift: 7 AM - 7 PM
• Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Monday through Thursday
• 4 day work week
• Steady shift (no rotation)
