The laundry attendant responsibilities include washing, drying, and folding of all towels and linen for the property. They must keep the laundry room clean and well organized for the house-person and room attendants to work in as well.
QUALIFICATIONS ... High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must work well in high-pressure situations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean all linen and towels daily according to hotel standards.
Additional cleaning as needed
Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guest’s fellow associates and self.
Handle items for 'Lost and Found' according to standards.
At the end of the shift turn in all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office.
