Job Summary
To promote the mission of PATH (People Acting to Help) to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member. The Secretary/Receptionist will greet individuals receiving services and other visitors within the Children's Urgent Care Center. The Secretary/Receptionist will also provide support services for Behavioral Health clinical ... programs.
Qualifications
• High School Graduate
• 2 years Clerical Experience
• Must have good computer skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
Specific Duties Included As a Secretary/Receptionist
• Perform receptionist duties for UCC and other BH programs, as assigned, greeting individuals, and informing staff of program participant’s arrival
• Complete UCC/BH enrollment including insurance verification and keep staff informed of progress and outcomes
• Answer phones and forward callers to appropriate staff
• Type correspondence, reports, forms etc. for assigned BH programs
• Ensure adequate supplies for UCC or assigned program and duplicate forms as needed
• Complete Avatar scanning on a daily basis
• Monitor UCC or other BH waiting area to ensure safety, welcoming environment and respond to any consumer needs
• As assigned, train staff on enrollment, scanning and other duties
• Submit any referrals to designated entity that are generated by the UCC (i.e. BCM, 201’s)
• Fax necessary documents for tele-psychiatry and ensure confirmation
