Job Description Summary
Clinical Receptionists are responsible for providing superior
patient-focused experiences in scheduling appointments, resolving
patient needs or concerns, and creating/updating patient
accounts.
Job Description
The ideal candidate for a CLINICAL RECEPTIONIST with Penn Dental
Medicine's clinical departments will provide superior
patient-focused experiences supporting the delivery of high-quality
care.
PATIENT EXPERIENCE
• Professionally greet & assist patients at the front desk of
assigned clinical department.
• Consistently demonstrate concern and courtesy for colleagues
and patients, following up with individuals to ensure satisfaction
with the level of service expected.
PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Accurately gather/update update patient accounts.
• Resolve patient inquiries and concerns and/or provide support
in connecting patients to department or party who can provide
resolution.
• Review appointment book in support of maintaining productive
& efficient patient flow.
• Dedication to learning and professional development.
• Other duties as assigned.

A High School Diploma or GED and 1 year to 2 years of experience or
equivalent combination of education and experience is
required.
Ability to speak and write Spanish fluently preferred.
Experience with windows based software required. Axium dental
software experience preferred. One to Two years' experience in
professional office setting required. Knowledge of dental
terminology and dental procedures preferred. Excellent customer
service skills required. Excellent oral and written communication
skills required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications,
experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the
