Description
Amazon is seeking a business intelligence engineer for a high visibility role supporting Prime Video Sports. This role sits within the finance & strategy org, and provides opportunities for impactful contributions to the Prime Video business. Business intelligence engineers partner with finance, strategy, and other stakeholders to solve complex problems, including, reporting ... tooling automation, business analysis, and strategic planning. This role will oversee reporting and analysis of major sports properties, such as Thursday Night Football and UEFA Champions League.
Key job responsibilities
β’ Partner with Finance and Strategy managers to design reports and analyses which answer important business questions.
β’ Build impactful, scalable data pipelines and automated reporting products.
β’ Produce meaningful, timely, and actionable analyses to inform sports business decisions.
β’ Design and implement metrics to measure effectiveness of new products.
β’ Work with data engineers, economists, and product managers to optimize PV reporting and analysis infrastructure and operations.
About The Team
Our analytics team sits within the Global Business & Financial Services org and owns analysis of the Prime Video Sports business. Our major customers include VPs in Finance and Strategy, as well as business leaders within the PV sports organization.

Basic Qualifications
β’ 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
β’ Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
β’ Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
β’ Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
β’ Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
β’ Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
