We are seeking Per Diem Event Servers for special events throughout the year. If you are looking for additional income without a formal schedule, this is an ideal opportunity for you. The Server must be energetic, detailed-oriented, and highly organized. Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time is required. Must be reliable, dependable, with strong customer service skills.
Summary ... The Event Server must be energetic, courteous, and professional and will be responsible for greeting, assisting, and serving guests at special functions and events. The server will help assist with preparation, clean up, and respond to questions, complaints, and requests. Must possess a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills, and must be able to work event hours.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting with event preparation and set up
• Participates in table and dining room set up and clean up.
• Assist with event preparation, including breakdown for full-service catering events both on and off the premises
• Light food prep, such as building sandwiches and salads
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude and appearance
• Maintain clear and open communication between all staff members for overall event success
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner throughout the event
• Provide excellent food and/or beverage service in accordance with company standards
• Follow Health and Safety practices at all times.
• Communicates all concerns to management including issues with health, sanitation, staff, inventory, and guests
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary
• Arrives for each shift on time and in full uniform.
• Attends all pre-shift meetings ready to “listen and learn” and share ideas.
• Avoids leaving work area during peak periods.
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
