Customer Service Representative
Position Summary ... OPEX Corporation is seeking to fill a full time Customer Service Representative for the Parts and Shipping department. This role will be responsible for various tasks including, but not limited to: creating orders, performing research on parts numbers, maintaining and monitoring inventory levels, running reports, communicating with customers and OPEX employees, and other office duties. This position is Monday through Friday 8-4:30p with occasional overtime. Essential Responsibilities
• Create orders to allocate the service need for parts
• Perform research on part numbers for customers
• Maintain, monitor and run reports for service inventories through Oracle
• Perform research on backorders
• Communicate and consult with various groups including but not limited to: Production Planners, Purchasing Group, Technical Support, Support Engineering Group, Digital Services, Field Service Team, and Accounting Department
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High school degree or GED required
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent customer service attitude, consistently pleasant phone manners. Call center experience is preferred.
• Basic familiarity with common office programs including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. Oracle experience is a plus, but not required.
• International Customer Service experience is a strong plus. (experience with international customs, INCO terms and shipping charges).
• Moderate typing skills, including 10-key
• Previous experience with creating inventory orders and New Parts Kits is strongly preferred
• Ability to run reports and a strong understanding of database and spreadsheets is strongly preferred
