JOB DUTIES
• Responsible for assembling food product containers and packaging in the correct manner before sending them down the production line.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials ·
• Place product into the appropriate containers in an efficient and timely manner. Appropriately package the food to minimize breakage and movement during shipping.
• Ensure the integrity and cleanliness of the containers before they are shipped out to retailers.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).
• Seal and label containers with the appropriate materials.
• Stack and arrange the containers in an efficient and safe manner that allows the shippers to load them quickly into the trucks.
• Inspect product and remove bad product from the line ·
• Assist with cleaning duties as assigned.
• The team member will be responsible for their immediate area during standard production and will be assisting with equipment and facility cleaning as needed and directed during full cleaning periods.
• Work and learn other areas of production as needed. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Knowledge of basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• Experience working in food production or in an industrial kitchen preferred.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
