In this role, you will be charged with the operations, setup and clean-up of all equipment within the Packaging Operations environment ... You'll observe the line to ensure continuous flow of materials to support the packaging plans.
Specific activities include adherence to quality and safety procedures, training new employees, as well as execution of work activities to meet daily packaging schedules and other business objectives such as improved yield and output efficiency.

What you'll do:
As a Packaging Technician, you'll work under direct supervision to perform normal operating routines.
You'll be required to pass an initial certification on training program to align with quality and regulatory requirements.
Your duties will include performing line cleaning, inspection, and ensuring packaging equipment is running efficiently and within required timelines.
You'll need in-depth knowledge and expertise on running equipment optimally and perform initial trouble shooting as well as changing of label rolls and more intricate component replenishment.
You'll also possess technical abilities with Microsoft suite for data collection and analysis.
You'll take a proactive approach to minimize equipment stoppage and idle time and monitor/retrieve required material availability.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
0-2 years of related experience or training Desirable Skills/
Experience:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures and manufacturing instructions Ability to perform basic math skills by calculating figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages Standing required for long periods of time up to 4 hours 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses with the ability to distinguish and identify colors Background check and drug screen required Expectation of working in the office 5 days a week:
