We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for promptly responding to guest requests and ensuring that all guest rooms are clean and well-maintained. Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Restock supplies and transport cart to assigned area
- Follow procedures for gaining access to guest rooms and ensuring vacancy
- Replace guest amenities, linens, and terry in rooms
- Make beds and fold terry
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly
- Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
- Check appliances in the room and report any issues
- Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or related role preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Physical agility to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart over uneven surfaces
- Flexibility to reach, bend, and stoop while cleaning
