The Boeing Company is currently seeking Truck Drivers to join the team in Seattle, Auburn, Renton and Everett, WA
Position Responsibilities:
• Manually pick, sort, load and unload packages up to twenty feet long weighing up to 35 pounds
• Drivers must have knowledge of proper load securement procedures including using, ropes, straps, chains, ratchet binders and tarps. Some loads require the use of hand-trucks, carts and pallet jacks
• You will be required to manually handle fragile materials including aircraft parts and luggage
• Truck drivers are expected to work in a team environment where safety, communication and customer service are all the highest priority
• Drivers will be expected to adhere to all Boeing documented processes regarding employee expectations including, dress codes, and vehicle care
• Drivers are expected to operate vehicles safely and strictly adhere to all Boeing, Federal, State, county and local rules and laws at all times to ensure we have no CSA violations
• Drivers are encouraged to participate in safety, quality and delivery improvement activities
• Drivers will be expected to perform pilot car work when required
• Must have the ability to work any location/ shift in the Puget Sound Region; including mandatory weekend Overtime when required
• Must have the ability to sit, stand, push, pull and reach frequently
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
• 5+ years experience having a valid Washington state driver’s License with a clear CDL A and the following endorsements Doubles / Triples, Tankers endorsements
• Must be able to lift 35 to 40 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
• 3+ years experience with portable communication devices including, radios, phones, tablets, and hand-held GPS devices, etc.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position meets Export controlled requirements and Requires a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15? “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Must have flexibility to support another location if asked.
• Must be fluent in both verbal and written English
• All shift position must be flexible to work any shift
• Must be able to obtain hazmat and passenger endorsements
Typical Education:
High school graduate or GED preferred.
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Shift:
This position is for 2nd shift.

Summary pay range: $ 27.00 – 43.00 an hour
