We are currently recruiting a full-time Material Handler & Forklift Driver at OMAX located in Kent, Washington to play an important role in loading, unloading and moving inventory/materials to or from warehouses and storage inside and outside using a forklift, stock picker, pallet jacks and hand trucks.

In this role, you will have impact by performing the following job duties:
• Load and unload ocean containers and trucks using a crowbar, claw hammer and/or other hand tools
• Pick and stage inventory against sales orders, work orders and material requisitions
• Ability to manage manual and clerical work related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies
• Maintain stockroom in an orderly and organized fashion
• Perform data entry as needed
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepare and package spares and machine orders for shipping and special assignments as required
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize
• Strong time management skills
• Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to be certified as a fork truck operator and willing to run the forklift, must have certification for role
Preferred:
• 2+ years experience in a production environment or Associates Degree and 1+ years experience in a production environment
• Prior inventory control experience preferred
• Experience with ERP transactions preferred
• Current fork truck license
